Goodbye Fairy Prion! The little Fairy Prion was released this morning. With a belly full of sardine smoothies, he/she flew strongly doing a figure 8 over us and then out to sea. It was rewarding to see it go healthy and strong. Stay safe little one!

Last night we had a Fairy Prion brought in by a lovely lady who found it exhausted in Akaroa. Probably caught in southerly storm over weekend. http://nzbirdsonline.org.nz/species/fairy-prion It is a baby and is enjoying sardine smoothies.
